Welcome to ShieldDoc. By accessing or using our document workflow automation platform — including our approval workflows, AI data extraction, document management, reporting, integrations, and compliance tools — you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before use.
By creating an account, starting a 7-day free trial, or using any part of the ShieldDoc platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using ShieldDoc on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
ShieldDoc grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the platform solely for your organisation's internal document workflow automation purposes. This includes creating and managing approval workflows, using AI-powered data extraction, integrating with CRM and third-party systems, and accessing reporting and compliance tools. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the platform without written permission from ShieldDoc.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. ShieldDoc's role-based access management features allow you to define user permissions within your organisation — it is your responsibility to configure and maintain these settings appropriately. Notify us immediately at contact@shielddocdms.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
All documents, data, and content you upload, process, or store on ShieldDoc remain your property. ShieldDoc does not claim ownership of your data. We process your documents solely to deliver the platform's workflow automation, AI extraction, and reporting features. We do not sell, share, or use your document data for any purpose outside of providing the service to you.
ShieldDoc's AI-powered data extraction and automation features are designed to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. While we continuously improve accuracy, AI-extracted data and automated workflow outcomes should be reviewed by your team for critical business decisions. ShieldDoc is not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of automated outputs without human review.
ShieldDoc provides API integrations with CRM systems, ERP platforms, WhatsApp, email services, and other third-party tools. Your use of these integrations is also subject to the terms and policies of the respective third-party providers. ShieldDoc is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or actions of third-party services connected to your account.
ShieldDoc provides compliance and audit management tools to help your organisation maintain regulatory compliance. However, it is your organisation's responsibility to ensure that your use of the platform meets all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including industry-specific compliance requirements in Legal, Finance, Healthcare, HR, and Logistics sectors.
ShieldDoc is committed to maintaining 99.99% platform uptime. In the event of scheduled maintenance or unexpected downtime, we will notify users in advance where possible. Planned maintenance windows will be communicated via the ShieldDoc status page at status.shielddoc.com and by email notification.
You may not use ShieldDoc to upload, process, or distribute unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful content. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform's infrastructure, workflow engine, or AI systems. Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate account termination.
ShieldDoc offers a 7-day free trial with full platform access. After the trial period, continued access requires a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed as per the plan selected at sign-up. ShieldDoc reserves the right to update pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and can be submitted to contact@shielddocdms.com.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ShieldDoc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of data, business interruption, or missed approval deadlines. Our total liability in any matter related to the platform shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
ShieldDoc reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through an in-platform notification at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in New Delhi, India.
